Black History Month Concert presented by the Redemption Young Adult Choir

“God’s Power through Hardship”

On Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 7:00 pm bring your whole family and join the Redemption Young Adult Choir in the Sanctuary of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church for a Black History Month Celebration Concert “God’s Power through Hardship.” Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church is located at 890 N.W. 15 Street Pompano Beach, FL 33060

Featured on the program will be the Redemption Young Adult Choir under the direction of Mr. Rolney Duverny with talented soloists, Rosenadine Michel, Wayne Mondelus and Theressa Bridges. This uplifting concert shows God’s power through adversity with drama depicting the long and inhumane voyage from Africa to America. This family event is a time of a deep reflection on one of the most appalling acts in human history. The repertoire will consist of music arranged by some the most well-known American composers like Moses Hogan, William Dawson and Paul J. Christiansen and Dr. Anthony Trecek-King.
