BORN IN THE SPIRIT

So beautifully fundamental to Bible believers is the nature of Jesus’ birth. Born of a virgin, but how? Mary admits never knowing a man ( Luke 1:34).
The angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you!” (v. 35). Miracle of miracles! Joseph was not the father. Christ was born of the Spirit.
In commemoration of his birth, let us contemplate the possibility of each man being born of the Spirit. No other time could be more opportune to reiterate the eternal truth presented by Jesus to Nicodemus: “Except a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” ( John 3:5)
Let all of us share the Good News of Christ to a needy world.
